Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. Here are the six steps.
- Take off the whistle, flag, cap and ball. They stay out of the water.
- Turn the jersey inside out to protect the stripes.
- Hand wash in cold water, 86 °F (30 °C) at most, with a mild detergent.
- Skip the bleach and press the water out gently instead of wringing.
- Lay it flat to dry, away from heat, direct sun and the dryer.
- Between seasons, store it flat in its bag.

Which geese does it fit?
It is made for the standard 23‑inch porch goose in plastic, resin or concrete. On statues from 20 to 27 inches it sits looser or snugger but still slips on over the head.
Is the goose included?
No. The set is the outfit only: jersey, cap, whistle, penalty flag, mini football, two pins and six tape pieces.
How do the flag and football attach?
Each one pins onto the jersey with one of the two included pins. The adhesive tape pieces are there as a backup if you want extra hold.
Can it stay outside?
Yes, it is made for the porch. To keep the colors bright for next season, bring it inside and store it flat once the season is over.
How do I wash it?
Remove the accessories, then hand wash the jersey in cold water with a mild detergent. Skip bleach, wringing and the dryer, and lay it flat to dry.
